Foster Care Stories: A Place to Be

   
    Delegate Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio and Maryland Public T
elevision will host a screening of the documentary Foster Care Stories: A Place to Be on October 20, 2008 from 6 pm – 8 pm.  The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, Maryland.  

In addition to viewing the documentary, the event will feature a short discussion of the foster care system in Maryland and current efforts to recruit foster parents and community partners.

(Annapolis, MD) - As Americans nationwide reflected on the meaning of the 4th of July holiday, Delegate Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio signed the Disabled American Veterans' "Stand Up For Veterans" Pledge in support of efforts to enact policies that will provide for the needs of veterans, including properly treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
